We were super excited to have a booth at this years DroidCon in London - you can only imagine how our little green buddy went down with the 1100 hardcore Android fans who saw him over the 2 days we were there!
Quite a few attendees left with one too - and those who were lucky enough to get one from our suprise giveaways thought we were kidding. We weren't :-)
The stand worked out great, with PinDroid, CyberDroid, BorgDroid and PinkDroid all putting in an appearance too, meaning we were fighting off the inevitable requests to buy one of those.
Ok, its only one town - the pilot is Blackburn, NW UK, since that's where the CozyBot HQ is, but more are to follow real soon now :-). Buying CozyBots in store is a great alternative to buying online. Not only do you save on postage costs but you can also see them and give your handset/tablet a spin. So don't forget to take yours if you do pay a visit.
We're really excited with this development and are encouraging any other interested retailers to get in touch using our contact page.
We'll keep a list of some of these retail outlets, so be sure to check them out next time you pass by.
Maker Faire is a celebration of the things people create themselves - from James Bond-worthy electronic gizmos to homemade clothes and inventions built in the garden shed!
At Maker Faire, technology meets art, science meets fashion, engineering meets crafting and that's just the tip of the iceberg!

CozyBot was on the top floor of the 1830 building - so called because it's the oldest railway shed in the world - and was surrounded by the most amazing gizmos, gadgets and fascinating people you could imagine. In other words, he was right at home there!
Held over the weekend, it meant another 2 days without even pausing to sit down - a familiar experience after the Gadget Show - but it was totally worth it. CozyBots were for sale, but that was incidental - this was the Maker Faire, so people were more interested in how they were designed and built. And they were not disappointed!
Battling Daleks, 6ft Androids (hi, Keith!) and iPhone fans, we bravely manned the CozyBot stand - but we all had a smashing time & met loads of fantastic people :-) Thanks to everyone who stopped by, it was truly awesome!

Looking splendid in our custom CozyBot T-Shirts (not for sale!), we were there for the whole week right next to the Media Hub, which meant everyone got quite excited as various celebrities, such as the presenters themselves, and the likes of 50 cent walked by!
